Monks
Much as I try, I cannot summarise my love/obsession for monks. Like I have said on my home page, it could be the 'oh so correct' exterior whilst hiding naughtiness underneath. Not unlike the English 'Sun' newspaper has reported Judges to be like in the past. Very orderly and intimidating but wearing stockings and suspenders underneath the gowns! Maybe it is that they make me aware that many things look very good and inviting on the exterior but can in fact be evil in disguise? I can kind of relate to this, on the surface I may appear to be a stereo typical disabled person. but, I have travelled the world with my wheelchair breaking that particular silly stereotype. Over the decades, Monks have been portrayed as humourous figures. We must not forget that back in history monks could be a pretty evil bunch! The pictures in this album show probably 5% of my entire collection. Sad eh?
