Emily was with me for four years. I got her as a puppy and she fit in with my family life immediately. She loved her Polo mints and would do anything to have one. Emily went everywhere with me, she would never use a lead as running off would mean she would leave Mums side. It was difficult taking her for a walk as she would always want to sit on my feet to go 'walkies'! The only problem I ever had with her was her love of spiders. She would catch them and bring them to me throwing them at me! Many is the time I would find a huge spider crawling across my feet with Emily sitting there wagging her tale looking so very proud of herself! Sadly, when I left to start a life anew in another country, I had to rehome her. She is six and lives very happily with a friend of mine who gives her all the attention she is used to. I will always regret giving her up and cannot bring myself to see her again as it is far too painful for me  |
